About Us
Catering Works is an off-premise catering and special event planning company located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We've served the Triangle area, and other regions in and out of North Carolina since 1989. At the core of Catering Works success is a dedicated team of professionals, committed to preparing and presenting the highest quality recipes and beverages with artistic vision and finesse. We offer simple delivery drop off, elaborate full service events and everything in between!
Catering Works at the North Carolina Museum of Art
Catering Works formed an exclusive partnership with NCMA in 2021, and is proud to operate the NCMA Café and the East Café, concessions for NCMA special events and full service catering for weddings and other private socials. We offer a wide variety of food and beverage options and are committed to bringing you a great dining experience at the NCMA. Menus emphasize locally sourced ingredients and include unique dishes that are inspired by the latest exhibition and the permanent collection. Fresh and delicious fare is available in both the West and East Buildings and can be preordered for the Museum Park. Vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary options are available.
Picnic Boxes
Catering Works is pleased to offer a variety of picnic boxes for weekends and for special events at the Joseph M. Bryan, Jr., Theater in the Museum Park.
- Picnic boxes for movie nights, concerts and other special events on the NCMA calendar may order by 12pm, 2 days prior to the event.
Our picnic boxes and snack packages are specially curated, made fresh in our kitchen and hand packed with care. They include compostable utensils inside the box.
Picnic Cancellation Policy
Due to production and availability of picnic baskets, the following cancellation rules apply:
- Picnic orders for movie nights, concerts and other special events on the NCMA calendar may cancel due to inclement weather (only) and require advance notice by 48 hours prior by 12pm to cancel and receive a full refund.
- Call (919) 664-6834 to process a cancellation
- In the event an NCMA event cancels or weather spoils your weekend plans and you have not cancelled your picnic basket order with enough notice to qualify for a full refund, you may still retrieve your order. Otherwise, cancelled orders that are not retrieved are donated to the Interfaith Food Shuttle or other local food recovery service.
